The use of Chantix has been found to cause these common side effects:

  • Nausea
  • Insomnia
  • Headaches
  • Abnormal dreams
  • Gas or Constipation
  • Changes in taste
  • Stomach pain
  • Heartburn or acid reflux

However, evidence suggests these much more serious side effects have occurred in a smaller number of Chantix users:

  • Suicide or suicidal behavior, thoughts, ideation
  • Psychotic, aggressive, abnormal behavior
  • Depression and anxiety
  • Hypertension
  • Extreme nausea or vomiting
  • Difficulty breathing
  • Anemia
  • Migraines
  • Vision Problems
