Meridia Side Effects – Cardiovascular Problems

Meridia side effects include potentially deadly reactions including:

  • High blood pressure
  • Hypotension
  • Stroke
  • Heart attack
  • Seizures
  • Increased heart rate
  • Heart valve disease
  • Arterial fibrillation

Non-fatal side effects can include:

  • Mental impairment
  • Anorexia

Meridia has also been linked to a rare disease called pulmonary hypertension (PPH). The symptoms of PPH include:

  • Breathlessness
  • Fatigue
  • Dizziness
  • Fainting
  • Chest pain
